A Williamsport woman is facing several charges after she allegedly threatened to kill her parents at their restaurant business on Tuesday, August 30th.
According to the Williamsport City Police Department, 37-year-old Yufeng Ma Lu allegedly threatened to kill her parents with a butcher knife at the Panda Chinese Restaurant located at 335 Rose Street at approximately 4:00 p.m. No one was injured during the incident. Magisterial District Judge Christian David Frey on August 30th, 2016 presided over the preliminary arraignment for Lu. Lu was arraigned at the Magisterial District Court 29-1-01. Lu was assigned bail in the amount of $10,000. Lu was unable to meet bail and was remanded to the Lycoming County Prison pending the next hearing. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 6th, 2016, at 3:00 p.m., also in front of Magisterial District Judge Christian David Frey.
Brittany Ann Alexander of the Williamsport City Police Department is listed as the arresting officer for Lu. The charges relate to an alleged incident that happened on August 30th, 2016.
