A Williamsport man was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash that occurred in Loyalsock Township on Saturday, October 15th.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police in Montoursville in a report, the crash occurred at the East 3rd Street/Clayton Avenue intersection at approximately 6:18 p.m. 43-year-old Robin A. Guillaume of Hughesville was operating a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. Guillaume was stopped in the center of the intersection on East 3rd Street as the traffic signal was red. 59-year-old Mark D. Hanner of Williamsport, who was operating a 2007 Harley-Davidson FLSTF, was stopped on Clayton Avenue along with another motorcycle as the traffic signal light turned green. While the other motorcycle was behind Hanner, Hanner drove through the intersection in order to turn left onto East 3rd Street. Then, Guillaume went through the intersection and hit Hanner’s motorcycle.

Hanner, who was not wearing his helmet, was seriously injured. Hanner was taken to Williamsport Hospital via Loyalsock Ambulance to be treated for his injuries. Guillaume, who was wearing her seat belt, was not injured. Guillaume’s passenger, an 11-year-old male from Hughesville, was also not injured. Guillaume’s passenger was wearing his seat belt. The left side of Hanner’s motorcycle was damaged after making contact with the ground. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.

Guillaume was charged with a moving violation. The Loyalsock Township Fire Department helped at the scene. The Tioga Freedomist extends our thoughts and prayers to the family of the injured.
