Three people escaped injury when two vehicles collided at an intersection in Loyalsock Township on Sunday, November 6th.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police in Montoursville in a report, 58-year-old Mary J. Caschera-Campana of Williamsport was driving a 1997 Volkswagen Jetta in an east direction on East Third Street near Shiffler Avenue. 22-year-old David A. Hallman of Easton, who was driving a 2007 Mazda 3, was stopped at a red light. Caschera-Campana could not stop in time, and her Jetta rear-ended Hallman’s Mazda. The crash occurred at East Third Street’s intersection with Shiffler Avenue at about 4:34 p.m.


Both Caschera-Campana and Hallman were uninjured. They were both wearing their seat belts. A single passenger in Hallman’s vehicle, 22-year-old Nathan D. Kaczmarek of Norristown, was also uninjured. Kaczmarek was also wearing his seat belt. Caschera-Campana was charged with a moving violation.
