A Rome man is facing several charges after he allegedly assaulted two girls between 2015 and 2016, according to the Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda.

34-year-old Adam Brooks Jr. allegedly assaulted the girls, ages 4 and 11, at an Orwell Township residence. The alleged assaults took place between April of last year and June of this year. You can read Brooks’ court report below:

 Adam Carl Brooks Jr., 34, of Rome, faces two felony charges and two misdemeanor charges.  The charges listed are….
Felony:
18 § 6301 §§ A1ii F3 Corruption Of Minors – Defendant Age 18 or Above

Misdemeanor:
18 § 3126 §§ A7 M1 Indecent Assault Person Less than 13 Years of Age
18 § 3126 §§ A7 M1 Indecent Assault Person Less than 13 Years of Age


Magisterial District Judge Fred M. Wheaton on November 4th, 2016, presided over the preliminary arraignment for Brooks. Brooks was arraigned at the Magisterial District Court 42-3-04. Brooks was assigned bail in the amount of $10,000. Brooks was unable to meet bail and was remanded to the Bradford County Prison pending the next hearing. The date for the preliminary hearing is currently pending.

Jeffrey P. Sredenschek of the Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda is listed as the arresting officer for Brooks. The charges relate to an alleged incident that happened on April 1st, 2015.
