A Philadelphia man will face charges in connection with a hit-and-run crash in which a police cruiser was struck in Williamsport on Tuesday, November 1st.
According to police in Williamsport, 28-year-old Nathan Dunlap was allegedly driving in the vicinity of Cemetery Street and West Fourth Street at around 12:30 a.m. when his vehicle allegedly rear-ended Officer Robert Brown’s police cruiser. The police cruiser then hit a utility pole. Dunlap allegedly fled the scene on foot.
Brown, who was injured, was treated for minor injuries at Williamsport Regional Medical Center. Janey Weaver of South Williamsport, who was a passenger in Dunlap’s vehicle, was also treated for minor injuries at Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
