An Osceola pair is facing charges after a Wellsboro business was robbed earlier this month.
22-year-old Thomas Andrew Ross and 26-year-old Alyssa June Sherman were arrested by Elkland police on October 7th in connection with several thefts which occurred in Elkland. The pair faced more charges once the Wellsboro police and the Pennsylvania State Police did some more investigating.
According to the Wellsboro police, Sherman and Ross allegedly worked together to rob Smokin’ Joes in Wellsboro on October 1st. Ross allegedly retrieved between $200 and $600 from the cash register. He then allegedly exited the store through the rear door. While Sherman’s court record is not yet available, you can read Ross’s court record below.

Ross was assigned bail in the amount of $100,000. Ross was unable to meet bail and was remanded to the Tioga County Prison pending the next hearing. An arraignment is scheduled for November 7th, 2016, at 8:30 a.m.
Bradley J. Wilson of the Wellsboro Borough Police Department is listed as the arresting officer for Ross. The charges relate to an alleged incident that happened on October 1st, 2016.
