Two people escaped injury when a vehicle struck a deer in Tioga Township on Sunday, October 30th.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police in Mansfield in a report, 43-year-old Juan C. Granda of Miami, Florida, was driving a 2016 Ford Transit in a north direction on US-15. The van struck a deer. The crash occurred 17,421 feet to the north of an unnamed street at about 7:34 a.m.

Because Granda was was unable to slow down in time, the front end of the van sustained major damage. Granda, who was wearing his seat belt, was uninjured. His passenger, 49-year-old Ricardo E. Acosta of Miami, was also uninjured. Acosta was wearing his seat belt as well.
