No one was injured in a three vehicle crash that occurred on August 21st in Middlebury Township.
According to police, Tori M. Swan of Middlebury Center was driving on Hills Creek Road. At the same time, Frank Grinnell of Wellsboro was driving in a south direction. In addition, Amanda N. McCullough of Middlebury Center was driving on North Road. Swan’s vehicle stopped on Hills Creek Road at the State Route 287 intersection. As she turned left, her vehicle entered the path of Grinnell’s vehicle before hitting it. The initial crash caused Grinnell’s vehicle to hit McCullough’s vehicle. McCullough’s vehicle was stopped at the North Road intersection when the second impact happened. The crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m.
Swan, Grinnell, and McCullough were uninjured. Swan’s passengers were also uninjured, and they include the following residents of Painted Post, New York: Christopher A. Scholl, Ryan J. Butler, and a juvenile. Grinnell’s passenger Maudea A. Johnson of Lawrenceville, was also uninjured. Swan was charged with failing to stop at a sign.
