An Elkland pair is facing charges after a home invasion robbery took place in Tioga Township on October 16th.

Court documents state that 33-year-old Jeffrey Scott Deitrick and 34-year-old Terra L. Deitrick allegedly kicked in the front door of Brooke M. Draper’s mobile home located at 243 Bear Creek Road. According to police, Terra Deitrick allegedly pushed Draper down after following her into the hallway. Jeffrey Deitrick, who was standing at the hallway’s entrance, allegedly wielded a knife and said he would “end” Kevin R. Crane unless he “[sat] back down”. Crane is Draper’s boyfriend. Then, Draper was allegedly kicked in the head by Jeffrey Deitrick. Next, Terra Deitrick allegedly used an 8 ounce metal claw hammer as a weapon to hit Draper while Jeffrey Deitrick was holding her down.

In addition to allegedly assaulting Draper, Jeffrey Deitrick and Terra Deitrick allegedly stole a smartphone. The phone is worth $500. The alleged beating resulted in several injuries to Draper. Draper had neck, arm, and head injuries. She suffered a concussion and had head swelling. She also had lacerations and contusions.

In a separate case, Jeffrey Deitrick was arrested after a mobile meth lab was allegedly discovered in June. Draper was charged in connection with the alleged meth lab discovery in August.
