A Dushore man sustained serious injuries in an ATV crash that occurred on Saturday, August 20th, in Lycoming County’s Shrewsbury Township.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police in Montoursville, 20-year-old Sean Flannery was riding a 2005 Honda Fourtrax ATV in a south direction on Big Run Road. As Flannery was trying to drive along a left curve in the road, the ATV exited the roadway. The ATV hit an embankment, left the ground, and hit a tree. Flannery was ejected from the ATV and landed on the ground. The ATV traveled down a ravine, hit another tree, and stopped moving. The crash occurred at about 6:30 p.m.
Flannery was taken to Danville’s Geisinger Medical Center to be treated for his injuries. He was charged with a moving violation for driving at an unsafe speed. The Tioga Freedomist extends our thoughts and prayers to the family of the injured.
